Pure Cabernet delight. Typical varietal expression beginning with the nose – scents of blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant – along with dried herbs, such as oregano and thyme, a bit of blackcurrant leaf, and lightly toasted coffee bean and mocha notes.
On the palate, fresh acidity marries well with the juicy fruit – more blackberry and blackcurrant with raspberry and cassis – and tones of dried herbs, stony minerality and a savoury & spice touch. Firm alcohol and gently gripping tannins are harmoniously integrated. A fine mineral, fruit and spice finish. Very well-crafted.
